Posh Pawz & Pads,  LLC is a small boutique business on the North Fork of Long Island.  We are always looking for nice and loving pet lovers to join our team of professional dog walkers/pet sitters.  Because of our constant growth, we are looking for  candidates to help care for our wonderful client’s pets.   The position would be considered an Independent Contractor.  A good supplement to your income.

We have been in business for many years.   We are an ever-expanding company providing multiple pet care services in the Riverhead and surrounding area. Posh Pawz & Pads, LLC offers a fun environment and the opportunity to work for great clients.

We are a friendly group of animal lovers, who enjoy walking dogs and taking care of other people’s pets each day.  We do overnight stays too!.

Common Sense with a strong sense of safety for our clients.

Ability to walk and handle safely a dog up to 90lb.

Ability to walk and love and care for our puppies

Comfortable around all types of pets (if you have any allergies to cats or dogs, we can schedule around that!)

Be able to do this job on your own.  No other tagalongs.

Durable (able to weather the elements like our LI snow, heat and rain)

Able to manage your time well and be on time

Ability to walk  up to 4,5 or 6 half hour walks per day.

Ability to sometimes climb sets of stairs safely with large dogs.

This is a part time position for someone looking to earn supplemental income.

Be able to be around cats, dogs and birds.  Sometimes we get the small pocket pets too!

Must have in order to be considered

a reliable car

a smart phone to access and use our scheduling software

availability M-F  7am- 9am, 12am ish to 2pm ish YEAR ROUND as well as some evenings for new client interviews OR be available nights and weekends including holidays.
